Background: Episiotomy is the most common obstetric surgical procedure performed in labor room. Mediolateral and Midline episiotomies are types. Post-delivery suture angle important determinant factor which predicts risk of anal sphincter injuries. episiotomy has a significantly lower OASIS rate when compared to midline episiotomies. Aim study was know whether mediolateral actually does influences injuries, maternal/fetal complications perinatal period.Methods: An observational conducted on 250 postpartum patients admitted our hospital. Details relation incision angle, length, depth post suturing were noted within two days delivery.Results: Among subjects included there 40.8 % incisions RMLE, average length 3.32cms, 28.69 degree. seen 19.5% cases more so with episiotomies.Conclusions: an essential, must skill. Compulsory ssupervised clinical teaching use skill lab training can prevent potential detrimental consequences.
